How Does It Work?

Simply download our App – DJ Near Me available on the Google Play and App Store, sign up for a DJ Hire account, enter the location of your event, browse DJs nearby, make an enquiry, pay a small deposit to secure your DJ and the balance on the day of your event once your DJ arrives (and after they have set up). Are You DJs Any Good?

We vet all our DJs before we add them to our books, where we have personally seen and heard them perform and are very confident in their ability you will see Approved on their profile you can also check DJ’s ratings. That being said we cannot vouch for every DJ, you will have to carry out your own due diligence but we are here to guide you should you need any help.

Are Your DJs Insured & Has Their Equipment Been PAT Tested?

Where DJs have stated they have Insurance and that their equipment has been PAT tested we ask to see their certificates during the vetting process. That being said we do not monitor the renewal process of these documents and you will need to make sure that they are in date for your event.

Can I Speak With My DJ?

Once you make an enquiry we will contact the DJ on your behalf, during this phase we can arrange a Zoom Meeting if you so wish. Once you have paid your deposit you will receive the contact details of your DJ and they will receive yours, you can then communicate with each other.

Are My Card Details Safe?

All payments are made securely via Stripe, we do not hold any of your bank details on our server and our website uses an SSL Certificate.

Do I Get A Receipt?

Yes you will receive a receipt via email (please also check your junk/spam folder) as soon as you pay the deposit, also within the App via the Side Menu Bar under Bookings you can see all your transactions.

I Do Not Get On With My DJ & I Want To Cancel Can I Get A Refund?

We have a 14 day refund policy subject to our Terms & Conditions please see full details here.

What If My DJ Does Not Show Up?

In the unlikely event that your DJ does not turn up or you get the inclination that they will not, please contact us ASAP so that we can arrange emergency cover. Our DJs know we have zero tolerance for any DJ that does not show up and they will be struck of our books straight away.

I Am A DJ How Do I Get On Your Books?

Please download our App – DJ Near Me available on Google Play & App Store, sign in under DJ Profile, upload a DJ profile, if we are interested we will contact you to verify your details before we make your profile live this process normally takes around 24 Hours.

If I Sign Up And My Application Is Successful Am I Exclusive To Your Agency?

No you are not exclusive to us you are free to join other Agencies and promote yourself at events.

Will I Get Work?

We cannot guarantee you work, we advertise our platform aggressively across Social Media, through Radio Ads and via Joint Ventures, by doing so we attract clients that are looking for a diverse range of DJs. We also help DJs improve the look of their profile, tailoring it to what clients are looking for.

Do I Have To Take A Booking?

No you are under no obligation to take any bookings.

How Do I Know When I Have Received A Booking?

You will receive an email when you get a booking, we will also make contact with you. All your bookings will appear in the Side Menu Bar under Bookings, where you can Diarise or Cancel.

How Do I Get Paid ?

We take £50 or 10% whichever is greater as our booking fee and as confirmation of your booking, the balance you need to collect on the day from the client, we suggest you do this after you have set up but before you play any music. For Corporate events you may have to raise an Invoice we can guide you if you need help.

Can I Get The Full Payment Upfront Before The Event?

We do not work like that, not every client is comfortable paying the full amount upfront, a deposit and the remainder on the day after the DJ has set up and before any music is played works best for us.

I Do Not Get On With The Client Can I Cancel?

Yes you can cancel, let us know ASAP so we can arrange cover.

I Cannot Make A Booking What Should I DO?

Let us know ASAP so we can arrange cover, unless it’s an emergency last minute bookings will be frowned upon and a No Show, your account will be removed.
